I bought fresh fruit and veggies just yesterday and I was shocked by the panic buying. I get buying some non perishable stuff, or even going out to REI and getting some mountain house but ma'am there is no way you're going to need 60 tins of spam.
OH THANK YOU ARBITER OF OVERLAND GEAR :P
Anyways, I couldn't stay holed up in my hotel all weekend so I ended up driving around and found a nice little spot to take some pictures.
So I woke up this morning to find out that the DOD has effectively cancelled all transfers from one station to the other, which I'm in the middle of, so I'm in a bit of a limbo situation.
MILSPEC isnt just a recommendation, its a lifestyle.
I love tacti-cool stuff as much as anyone else but I use that stuff at work all time, and my truck is part of my escape from work. Sure I have some molle stuff, some military surplus stuff and chinsy badges or patches, but I use/bought...
I've seen a few forums where I can just sign up to help crew for a bit, but I'll have to DM you and pick your brain!
Most of my sailing is on, ahem... bigger boats.
I still think they're cool, but just not absolutely required like how it seemed a few years back. They weren't required back then either, but just felt like they were.
Well I mean I have about 15 years of sailing experience....
I just move too much for a sailboat to be an option right now, and am away too much for me to meet the maintenance requirements of boat ownership. I have considered joining a yacht club but man they were might expensive, but there is...
I've been getting 12 to 14 around town with similar setup. once I get onto the highways its closer to 14.5 maybe a bit more, interstate fa-get about it I'm at like 11 mpg at 80 mph.
Maybe I'll buy one, who knows? I was hoping for solid axles all round though. Especially with it being a convertible, it would make parting with my Jeep even easier.
Hopefully they were smart enough to put some money aside when THEY KNOWINGLY BROKE THE LAW. F*ing CL?WNS.
The reason peoples recirc gear was going bad is because they were flooding their engines with fuel to look cool.
I looked at an Xterra back in 2009ish before I bought my first Land Rover and it was a cool truck but I really wanted solid axles all round. And for context I looked at the 4Runner too as well as the Land Cruiser, but my options were limited living in Hawaii. The Xtrerra has none of the oomph of...
Well for one they're the only brand trying push an engine older than what Toyota has in theirs....
Serious talk, that brand has STAGNATED since the late 00s. I mean the 370z is kind of exciting, but its essentially a rehash of the 350z which is now 17... 18 years old? The GTR is 13 or 14 years...
I'm going to be honest with you, I don't know. A quick search confirms the 2017+ definitely do, and that the non-raptor F150s have had it since roughly 2011 at least so I would have to assume that these trucks have it as well.
