Dripping Springs to Globe, AZ 12/17

Finally our 1st bit of snow, and it was much lower in elevation than we expected to find it. Our good road had quickly turned narrow and rougher but not so bad that we couldn't continue. Our bad road connected to another good road that came in from the west and appeared to continue up the...

Dripping Springs to Globe, AZ 12/17

Kenmoto and I decided today would be a good day to do a run we have been talking about for some time now. We had scouted out the route on Google Earth and figured we would give it a go. We left Tucson and headed north on Hwy 77 to Winkelman, we stopped there topped of the tanks and continued...

Need help for street legal modifications

My 450x is street legal and I have ridden on the road quite a bit. I put a ball swivel mirror on the bars that I can simply fold down and out of the way when not on the road. You can't see out of the mirror but it keeps me legal. My bike came with the Baja Designs taillight/license plate...

The 45 Most Powerful Images Of 2011

Definitely some powerful images. I used the Phoenix Haboob as my desktop since that is just about how I remember it. I drove straight into it after a 12 hours on the road returning from a Colorado trip. It was a very erie feeling.

Baja 1000 - My New Found Drug

    Re-tread tires

I tried some Treadwrights a while back. Bought the guard dogs and put them on my Xterra. 2 of the 4 would not balance within spec so they replaced them at no charge. One of the 2 replacements came with the tread already seperating from the casing. It was at this point that I did not feel...

    Temporal Gulch, AZ 11/06...

Took a little trip with some friends to Temporal Gulch north of Patagonia in the southern end of the Santa Rita Mountains. This is a very pretty area. Not a very eventful trip so a long writeup isn't necessary, just thought I would share the photos.
