I'd not recommend mounting a compressor that's going to be running much inside the cab, much less under a seat. They tend to build up quite a bit of heat. I do have a small compressor inside but it's for my Ranch shock adjusting system and runs for as long as I push the button which is...

If that doesn't fix it look up the code (the blinking light isn't just a random thing) and it'll tell you more.

Good idea running through the rack. I had contemplated that but eventually took the rack off for less noise and resistance. Maybe someday I'll follow that trail.
