I took a trip to a dealer that had one in stock and confirmed that the floor is, in fact, plywood.

Hi MO owners. Potential Summit buyer here. What is the floor made of? I’ve seen posts/ads saying ‘no wood’ and other posts (in this thread) saying the floor is marine plywood (well sealed and insulated, of course). Just need confirmation from those in the know. Thanks ahead of time!

There are some that are the height of a regular truck bed, but it doesn’t seem that there’s too many out there, especially second hand. And it still doesn’t fix the too deep part… Bowen and OEV make nice solutions for both of these, but jeez, $$$.

What about a service body instead of boxes and a flatbed?

I think our 6’ Flippac (similar to Habitat, but a little wider on top) is full with 2 adults and a 3yo, but I wouldn’t say we’re minimalist. We’re in Salt Lake area if you want to have a look sometime.

We used ThermoLite to replace some plywood bulkheads and and the floorboards in our sailboat and saved a few bucks over Coosa. It was also easier to get (2 sheet vs 5 sheet minimum), but I do not think it’s quite as durable as plywood. Cover with fiberglass in areas that need strength. Paint...
