    I would have gone with that style, but there wasnt enough armor-all available locally to be able to keep the 53" Michelins shiny. I painted the front bumper black, finally. No more updates right now. Gears coming within two weeks, and then its probably nothing for the rest of winter.

    Im not going to repeat what has already been said, but another thing to consider is that if you use two runs, you are essentially doubling your possible points of failure. Simple is better.

    Full frame, or newer camera

    If its sports you are after, the 50D will be a more useful camera. If its studio or portrait, the 5D will be a better choice. The 5D has much better noise performance than the XTi. I cant speak for the 50D since I have never used one.

    On the overseas models, that compartment comes with a roadside emergency kit. The US models didnt have the kit, but still have the straps. The good news is that the straps are the perfect size for a fire extinguisher.
