I don't worry about how fast I'm going. I tell myself I'm on vacation. I grind up the hills at the same speed as most of the semis. Mostly 11 MPG and It doesn't seem to matter if I'm dragging something behind me or not.

Really, I would get a motor home and put the Jeep on a trailer behind. Takes care of your living area concerns and if you ever break your Jeep, you have a way to get it home. I've been doing it for years but I have a big yard to park things in.
