    Lumpskie's 1989 Grand Wagoneer Build

I grew up in Arvada, we spent lots of time in that area. My mother had to visit any graveyard she could find so we saw lot's of out of the way places.

    Rango.....1942 Willys MB

I wish I could have met you when I was in Durango a few year back. Missed meeting Durangotang but met with Unclebill and Hudsonhawk from the CJ5 page. My 3B gets more attention on trials than all of the newer Jeeps, My first Jeep was a MB.

    JK trailer brake controler

Tekonsas in both of my towing vehicles. Easy to install and work well. They have been in for years so I don't remember what model they are. Neighbor had a time ramp controller on his Jeep to tow his boat. He thought it was great, I thought it was crap.

    Post Pic's of your Jeep

I never liked Scramblers or CJ6s when they came out. I am starting to like them a bit more. Nice Jeep by the way.

Trucks to get larger exhaust brake from?

This may not apply to your issue. A few years ago I had to replace the exhaust manifold on my MF. The dealer said that they had never seen one of them crack before. The outlet from the manifold was smaller than the inlet to the turbo by a notable amount. I thought about getting the die grinder...

    EarthCruiser Overland Vehicles

I don't worry about how fast I'm going. I tell myself I'm on vacation. I grind up the hills at the same speed as most of the semis. Mostly 11 MPG and It doesn't seem to matter if I'm dragging something behind me or not.

    Abenteuer Allrad show 2015

Around here we have the 4th of July parade, people start staking out viewing areas over a week ahead. I avoid the whole mess and sleep in. I know what horses smell like and know what a fire truck looks like and can't eat any of the candy tossed out. I may seem like a grumpy old man, but I am...

Snowball: the build that just keeps getting larger!!

I hate to put it quite this way but you are about as crazed as the kid across the street. At least you are going with the right motor. He's working on a YJ, full coil overs, extended the wheel base, D60 and a 14 bolt. Still running the 4 cyl, a hemi next year. I suspect I will have to go...

    WK2 Grand Cherokee Off-Road Impressions

Really, I would get a motor home and put the Jeep on a trailer behind. Takes care of your living area concerns and if you ever break your Jeep, you have a way to get it home. I've been doing it for years but I have a big yard to park things in.

    Overland XJs Unite!

Warmed up many slices of Pizza on a motor, finding the 6 year old can of beef soup in there sort of made me wonder about my mind.

What feeling does jeep give to u?

The first Jeep I had was a MB. Converted it to a V6. Next Jeep is a '61 3B with a V6. Other is a Commando with a V6. I just like driving the 3B even if it is old, cranky and smelly, It's just like me. It gets more attention than my Volvo for sure. I did have a guy talk to me about the Commando...

    Preparing for long trips.

I've driven my '61 3B to Moab and back many times. pretty basic prep. Change motor oil, check all of the gear boxes. Have some spare fluids, Some tools and some spare parts. On the last trip, a friend used both of my spare U joints. Of course things like a spare fan belt and jumper cables. Duct...
