They are coming out with second version of the expedition trailer, and I am fairly certain they have plans of expanding into US market. But planning is one thing and execution is another.

There was an older escape 17b on sale in escape forum, and it went in hour or so, hard to find sth old/decent that you can modify for ur needs.

I've been considering Escape as well(17b and 19). Also talked to David from Escape, apparently they will have some offroad version in spring, so wait and see for now, doubt it will be beefy frame though. I think it's been few months now under new ownership, so reviews should be out soon in...

I've a quick question re: platform gx460 and 4runner share. Would slider mounted on my 5th gen 4runner fit GX460? It's bolt on ones from white knuckle offroad.

When I asked them about this in May, they said its coming soon to NA market. Asked me to DM them(in instagram) but never did to find out when exactly its coming.

Escape Trailer(from canada) are coming out with a an off-road version of their 17ft model. It's more of an experimentation on their end, but I am curious to see how it turns out before making a decision next camper. Their sales guy said it will be later in Fall when something comes out.
