Tire Deflators - What Do You Use and Why?

I built a similar system for all 4 corners. It’s a lot of hose to bring to pack and unroll/roll, but works well. Faster than ARB. If I were to upgrade, I’d consider building the system into the truck so I don’t have to deal with so much hose, similar to UpDown Air or Sponsored by Wifey. I’ve...

    Tacoma Suspension/FWC Questions

I do not have a camper, so feel free to pass this one by. I normally load trips near payload, but rarely, if ever, over payload. Daily driving is camper shell and platform only - my medium OMEs are a tad bouncy when unloaded, but perfect with most any additional load all the way up to max. I’m...

King Starboard as material for bed drawers/sleeping platform?

The only watch out with Coosa is that it’s impact resistance is pretty low, so finishing is required. Like you mentioned, bed liner is likely a good choice, especially in the back of your rig with all the gear. For the bulkheads in our boat, we have laminated fiberglass over high traffic edges...

King Starboard as material for bed drawers/sleeping platform?

Coosa destroys most blades/bits intended for wood due to the fiberglass content, but blades/bits intended for metal are perfect.

King Starboard as material for bed drawers/sleeping platform?

It definitely has its uses. I replaced all of the outside teak on my small sailboat with Starboard, and it’s great. It works just like wood with power tools. But it’s heavy, not dimensionally stable with temp, prone to sagging if not fastened well, and won’t take any adhesive. I think composite...

    Another F550 build

Do you know the specific VHB you chose? Also, where you sourced it? Some of the exotic/structural stuff is hard to find.

Which trailer axle to match my F150

If you end up building from scratch though, there’s likely a local axle place that can build you exactly what you need - width, hubs, weight capacity, spring hangers, etc. There are also online vendors. Very reasonable pricing, as I recall.

Which trailer axle to match my F150

If you end up running adapters/spacers, check out Bulletproof Off Road Adapters / Motorsport-Tech. They can make any arrangement you need.
