Not really. Warn Industries doesn't offer a synthetic rope that'll work for the 16.5ti. We only pull test our ropes on our winches, so I can really only comment on our products. - Andy

Yeah, that was me that posted on iH8mud.com. FYI, the M8000 is faster, has a contactor (vs. solenoids in the VR8000), VR uses a different motor, has a different finish, and different remote. Same warranty on both. The M8000 is going to be higher performance, but more money. - Andy

FYI, had an outstanding beer last night, possibly my new favorite Stout: Cavatica Stout from Fort George Brewing in Astoria, Oregon. Nice and roasty, a nice bit of coffee and bitterness. Not sweet, but not too dry. Outstanding mouthfeel and taste. So good...
