Personally? 9.5xp. More capacity, smaller size, less weight. Then again, as mentioned, I have a Suzuki. :D
However, the M8274-50 is a legend and with good reason. It's fast, it's proven, it's got a lot of rope.

Feel free to send me a PM at any time, too. Good automotive forum sites, such as ExpeditionPortal, are what it's all about—getting info and meeting new people.

No need to apologize at all!
My Kick has the stock 5:13 gears, so with the stock 205/75/15, it is pretty high strung on the highway. Going up to a 235/75/15 actually helps it a bit on the open road, and you can run 235s without a lift if you wanted. Mine, being a soft top, isn't very quiet on...
Novice Scotch enthusiast here. My go-to is Macallan 10; got a bottle of 12 for my birthday. Also have a bottle of Laphroaig 10, but it's a bit too peaty for my tastes.
A few others that I've really liked as of late: Scapa 8, Dalwhinnie 15

My numbers were for the 16V. For a 1997, http://www.fueleconomy.gov lists the 2 and 4 door models as the same fuel economy (both 4WD, both manual trans): 21 city, 24 highway.

As is, I'm getting about 23-24 MPG, which is mostly "city style" driving. The only downside is the itsy-bitsy fuel tank. I'm not sure I've ever gotten 200 miles on a tank according to my odometer, which is off 6.5% due to the larger tire size. So I suppose I could add 6.5% to my odometer reading...
A couple thoughts:
I used to own a '92 Mitsubishi Expo LRV. In college, I actually had a website for them called the Mitsubishi Expo LRV Pages (this was back in the mid 1990s.). I'm pretty familiar with them. Mine was a 1.8-liter FWD manual. Good little car. Parts can be hard to find for them...
As spressomon mentioned, you may have an issues with the M12000 in an ARB bumper (check with them for confirmation). Also something to think about: The 9.5xp has our extreme-duty sealing; the M12000 does not. The M12000 is also 136 lbs. The 9.5xp is 87 lbs. Get the 9.5xp-s (with Spydura...
FYI, our winch plate for stock JK bumpers is PN 74247 or PN 74249 (for M8274-50 only).

I've got a couple of pairs. I had a pair of their hiking boots and they served me very well while crawling around the rocks at Moab, the mud of East Texas, the Tillamook State Forest, and multiple other hikes and work excursions. The soles finally wore out beyond repair. I also have a pair of...
This is a Shrockworks bumper.

As far as I know, they don't make it anymore, but would if they could get enough people to buy it. And no, they don't make one for an older Subie.
Let me look in my shed, though; I may have a set of the old mounting brackets (I had...
/Just added a BajaRack Mule to my AWD Suzuki SX4. More room to stow gear. Really nice little rack for smaller vehicles. Currently running 15" General Altimax snow tires (195/65/15). Thinking of possibly moving to a 215/60/16 Yokohama Geolander A/T-S (on the stock 16s) for the summer.

There's an old, decrepit Subaru Sambar by me. Apparently the guy won't sell it, either. I always thought the pickup version would make a cool little rig. We actually have a vintage micro car show each year in the Portland area. Some very unique vehicles.
