My father is a past and current Cherokee owner. The 1990 went 235,000 miles before he sold it to a friend; saw 4WD regularly on Mt. Hood in the snow. He's got a 2001 with 90,000 miles and it runs like a top. Both have been outstanding vehicles with no major mechanical issues. The 4.0 liter...
Big fan of Days 4 and 7!
Just a heads up for any local beer enthusiasts. Oregeon Brewers Guild is putting on its 4th Annual Zwickelmania. Great event that I intend on participating in (I went to years 1 and 2).

I reviewed the Outlander GT on my blog. I liked it a lot (as long as you don't have to sit in the thrid row seat!). One of the most overlooked vehicles on the U.S. market, for sure. I've also driven it on a light off-road course, and it did surprisingly well...
Funny you mention this, I just was thinking of this vehicle yesterday as a potential off-the-pavement project. I saw a V-6 5-speed model for sale locally, and didn't know that they came in a manual trans and had a low-range.

Unfortunately, the AWD Grand Vitara is only available with an automatic, at least in the U.S. It's pretty heavy for its fairly low-power four cylinder. It does, however, have a low range.

I've had this one a few times and always enjoyed it. I haven't had one in a few years; maybe I'll snag a few bottles tonight.
Heathen! That's OK. It leaves more IPA for me. :D

I really like the Brrr and like Drifter a lot. Can't complain about their Hefe, either. I used to love the Broken Halo, Dead Lift Imperial IPA, and W'11 KGB Imperial Stout. I honestly haven't had some of their brand-new beers. My all-time fav was Snow Plow Milk Stout, but that is also no longer...
Yeah ... I'll get back to you on that ... :D
Anyway, drinking a 2011 Deschutes Jubelale (strong ale). One of my favorite annual winter beers. And no, I'm not in the office. :coffeedrink:
I would've posted a photo, but I just finished the beer! Next time.
