Those seals can leak. I don't think they are made for repeated use.
I have noticed it more in cold weather when I disconnect the propane tank.
If you are worried just crack a window and you should be fine.
It would only provide heat with the engine running. Maybe it would be good for a passenger van but for a camping rig I doubt it.
I also don't like any additional hoses running back to the heater etc.
Everyone complained about the previous interior too!
As long as it is easy to clean and not hard brittle plastic I think it is fine.
After a long camping trip and when you still have 500 miles to get home that interior and quieter ride will seem pretty nice. Proper ergonomics is a good thing...
Thanks for the interesting trip report. I had never heard of those airway beacons before. I always wondered how people flew at night back then.
I have seen many of the white radio towers (like bowling pins)
