At first glance, the mural wasn't for me, but I didn't look. I glanced... And thought there was a dog in the window. After the nay-sayer, I gave it a second look and then blew it up. I have to say I genuinely like it in its originality and frivolity. And the dog has me smiling along with...
Looking great! I have to admit, I have saw envy. First I found out about the Evolution saws and then I read the reviews suggesting the Morse saws... so nice...
True, there are cheaper methods than the XO. And my current one is a franken-jack for just those reasons. But I sure wouldn't put my jack in the same catagory and, quite frankly, money isn't the same to all people. I don't have a lot of it, so it means something to me, but if I was flush, I...
Here are the photos of the new (used) tongue box installed. I found it on Craigs list for $100 and it is about 2" less narrow than the trailer--a perfect fit! The black nob at the top right is the battery disconnect and below that on the right is the "shore plug" for the charger for the...
Yes! Although I didn't do much over winter as life sort of got in the way (I had rust on my bulkhead of the D90 as well as some other issues, so I had to weld in new metal work and finish the truck as rust isn't something that can just sit...).
I found a full width tongue box in lieu of the...
Outside for me for sure. Being in bear country makes that a must as well, but for me it is the smell/mess and the potential to attract rodents and critters particularly during storage. The only thing that I do inside is boil water.
INTERESTING!!! So it is snowy and cold so I haven't thought about it. But a couple days ago my rivnut tool arrived-- so I may do that too!! Food for thought. I've thought about the extra room and how I could do it, as my trailer is too tall now.. Thanks for the inspiration!!!
Brophy AS23. Great stair and I think the best value-- sturdy and well made. Got it from eTrailer for about $200. http://www.etrailer.com/p-AS23.html I considered the Torklift as well, also well made, but didn't really get anything more for the increase in cost. To do over again, I'd get the...
GREAT observation. I never even suspected that trailers would reverse what auto's do. I looked at pin wiring diagrams for trailers and black is hot and white is ground-- I'll see if I can edit my previous statement (although black=ground still holds true for automotive wiring)...
(White is hot, black is ground in most automotive systems) doesn't seem to hold true for trailers (as drodio will point out below. (Edited) Diodes in charging circuit is typically for the back feeding scenario you describe.
