Seems an appropriate price point. Rather on the cheaper end if it comes with the tent... If I wasn't sorted, and it comes with the tent, I would have been interested.
I picked up an ARB4402A 2000 series awning off ebay for a great deal to add to the trailer... not sure how to mount it but I have been talking about the rack. I have been practicing with the ReadyWelder hooked to the Miller Mig welder (to run as a spool gun) for aluminum to weld the Jerry Can...
2x6v GC batteries have way better cost per similar 2x12v with comparable amp-hour capacity and a way better charge/discharge life. I run them in my off road trailer, and also in golf carts (go figure) where they take beatings and sloshing and seek to hold up pretty well so far. I'd say they...
Cool bed mechanism-- I love it. Great build! In regards to graphics, less is more. Plastering it with images really takes away from it. Graphics are great for making crap look better, but if it already looks great, why f-it up? Personally, it looks great on its own---I'd keep graphics to a...
No problem--I looked for ever to find some at a decent price: http://www.ezaccessory.com/Wheel_Adapter_5_Lug_Custom_5_1_2_p/5000-5000-3.htm
Thanks for the compliments--I appreciate it.
I was looking at adding a charge meter but I don't want the light to always be on. Is yours always on or is there's button? Ideally I want it to show volt but only back lit when I hit a button-- is that how they work? Otherwise I can add a switch, I suppose...
It depends on how long you are camping, and how many bodies you are taking with you. I say bodies as I have two dogs and they typically go through about 1.5 gallons per day. For people and cookinig/clean up, we figure on 3-4 gallons per day. So, without showering, I typically take 5 gallons...
This is the one I use in my Defender for floor mats. 10 years and counting--- http://www.homedepot.com/p/Buffalo-Tools-36-in-x-60-in-Anti-Fatigue-Rubber-Flat-Mat-RMAT35/100648174
Been a while, and I am starting the final phase of the exterior. I had some nice thick scrap aluminum angle iron (I am a bit of a scavenger/pack-rat and love to reuse everything possible) and I thought it would be perfect for my Jerry can holders and my Yeti cooler holder. So I started the...
Personally, I prefer L-track. http://www.amazon.com/Steadymate-15546-Series-Angled-Surface/dp/B0026FCGFO/ref=pd_sim_263_4?ie=UTF8&refRID=1J1H35B4HADG8NNBDS44
I recommend 2 x 6v golf cart batteries wired in series. Best bang for the buck, and life. No downside except weight, but what capacity you'll have! Costco is where I get mine. Tons of us solar folks use that set up. My favorite, at least, but tons of different ways to make it work...
