My Prospeed is rusting BADLY as well and it's just over 2 years old.
The powder coating doesn't last, i'm looking at getting it Line X'd now to protect it as the Scottish winters and the salt is killing it.

Set of 5 with tyres. You won't find a set of 17 steels for anywhere near that. Although I have seen them a lot cheaper than £50 each with tyre.
Carriers are about £25 per pair. So £50.
Discs are as expensive or cheap as you like.
Then you can run the...
This is a Brembo calliper, as fitted to my car. They were from a Supercharged RRS that someone ran out of talent in and binned it... haha.
NO D3/LR3 has them from the factory.
Why don't you get a set of the 17 inch factory alloys we have in the UK?
£125 will get a set of 5. Then ship them...
The tdv6 and v8 use the same brake pads.
It's only the brake disc that's a bit bigger between the models.
I changed my rear discs to the v8 ones, fitted the v8 carriers and the larger disc.
A tdv6 can be remapped to 240-250bhp and give near v8 performance.
Fit good performance pads and...
You need a gap tool and a decent compressor guard.
Have a look at the Prospeed one for ideas.
However, well done for attempting the trail. Good to see the 3 can be used for many different trails.
If you mean swapping the whole headlight unit then yes it can be done.
You will need to likely get stuff enabled on the cars software but that can be done at a dealer or decent specialist.
What fuel gauge did you use for the 2nd tank.
I've got a front runner tank to fit to my UK D3 ( hurrah for the tdv6 :p ) but would like to have a gauge like you have fitted to the dash for it.
Very good install and well done for getting round the challenges that you faced!

Would need to dig out the expo build thread but this post suggests that their LR4 has both front and back lockers.
Edit.

Currently.... No.
The tank is going to be fitted to mine this month.
Have the back chassis to run down, clean up and rust proof before and the cars going in to get some bodywork issues sorted.
I'll keep you updated though.

There's the fitting guide. May just need a pump that can work with petrol instead of diesel.
The rest of the tank and pipework should be fine.
Check the windshield sensor is there.
Start car and have it at the wiper setting and aim the hose at the sensor in the centre of the windscreen.
I'll assume if you have auto wipers, you may also have auto lights.
Do they still work?
If the rest of the car is solid, bodyshell being the main one as D1s love to rust, the drive train is good and you can see yourself owning it for a while longer.
I would go for it. I think this truck has passed the point of financial reason and is now in the project/sentimental group.
I think...
You can get both front and rear ARB lockers for the D4.
I have no lockers on my 3. It's a very rare option on the UK market as we don't have a "HD package"
I know of 3 cars with it. 2 are G4 D3s from the 2009 event so that's kinda cheating...
It works out about £725 for the front and £864 for...
The rear ladder from them is good as well.
I've got it on my car.
You may need to order some of the accessories and floor mats for the rack to be useful though. Lots of open gaps and limited accessories for it sadly.
as an ex of mine used to say "you can ask as nicely as you like, the answers still no!" :( lol.
162 litres of diesel should give a range of nearly 900 miles at 25mpg.
That figure should go up when the maintenance rpg hits my work out auto box and injectors.
