Show us your Toyota 4runner, tacoma or truck.

Yes, freeze did make this and other outstanding videos from his and CT4WD group travels. The one he put together for the Whipsaw Trail was late at night beneath the stars and the light of a campfire on a picnic bench next to Lake Cowichan, Vancouver Island, BC, with his Apple PC running from...

Evoque: I have seen the future of Land Rover ...

Really? Are you sure it's not the HALO 4 liberty vehicle? The Warthog doesn't have windows or AC. Looks like the Evoque meets the need.

    FS - 07 Tacoma ..... ATO Truck

********! My thoughts exactly - but I showed amazing restraint by not saying that "he owes you big time from saving him from a life of disappointment and poverty," but you notice how I refrained from posting that... Now, what replaces the Tacoma fire931?

    Cummins B3.3 Powered FJ60

In that a gentleman never asks a woman's age... I wasn't chastising you Sloan, merely reflecting a comical, if not painful, common experience of modifying our vehicles. If the OP would like to share his expenditures, please feel free.

    Cummins B3.3 Powered FJ60

Please... a gentlemen never asks what a restoration, axle conversion, power-plant swap, etc., costs. Actual figures can potentially bring about brief episodes of guilt to the owner. We don't need that getting in the way of our mania, now do we? Plus, never leave a possible audit trail for...

    Trump's 03 Tacoma

Yeah - what he said. A few pics upon your return and your impression on how it performed in use on the trail will be appreciated. I didn't think glare would be an issue with the slope of the hood either; the overlay shape is what makes it standout so well IMHO.

Hopefully we approve of the purchaser and that it's going to a good home where it will be cherished... good luck!

    Scoutkid's van is HERE!!!

Seriously. We need to take this guy to a lab and start performing detailed analysis on his serum. Maybe a few biopsy's too... Some say... that he sleeps hanging from the rafters in his garage and that he lives on the internet... all we know is he's called the Scoutkid.

But you have the satisfaction of a job well done and the knowledge that you're prepared for another 170,000 miles. Hey - you could have always called me. Not like the retired guy has anything to do. I can take pictures and ridicule your efforts vice waiting to hear about it on the internet to...

    IBS Dual Battery System

Correct. That would be annoying but they only light when the red button is pressed and then for only a few seconds. The bottom voltage charge display and linked buttons stay lit while in operation but it isn't an issue.

    IBS Dual Battery System

I wouldn't stress out too much about it. The web site says, "The IBS products are manufactured by the majority on fully automatic placement robots in Switzerland. This ultramodern manufacturing guarantees highest quality and a short manufacturing running time. We are able to handle larger...

    Scoutkid's van is HERE!!!

That looks SOOO good! Looks like a FS road in the Sierras - you can tell because its going up hill. I especially like those stirrup cables you have to climb in the cab; the red and black color really makes a nice contrast.

    Another OzTent Groupie

For me, drag, weight, and power (lack of). All that volume above the truck, weight increasing the COG, and my 4 cylinder would make an unhappy combination. My style of travel usually has me in place for a couple days allowing me a nearly empty vehicle for wheeling. If I'm on the move I can...

Build on a new frame or new bike?

Frame. If your parts are still good or if you want to upgrade to better components, now's the time. There's nothing better than a custom-to-you bike that you've built up yourself. Kind of like your truck, right?
