    Trump's 03 Tacoma

Looks great - good job! The glare is annoying - I've been meaning to do this too but the supplier flaked and I just stuck it in the too hard box. Thanks for sharing your supplier.

Poor cell phone pic but probably one of the best camp sites I've ever had... RV2, Lake Cowichan, Vancouver Island, BC

    Another OzTent Groupie

Did you call Randy at OzTent USA for advice? I think I responded to that earlier thread with a an email address and toll free number. Randy and Kim have always provided GREAT customer support.

    m35a2 build....and m105 camper build

Not to worry. CDF are planning on modernizing their tactical transport fleet according to Defense News to the tune of over a billion dollars IIRC last week. You should see some well equipped/cared for CDF vehicles FS in the next 2 years.

    Partner Steel 18" or 22"?

I have an 18 inch and don't have any problems managing to cook a meal. But then it's just me or a couple other hungry mouths. Since you own an FJC I'd be thinking about size and weight since that seems to be a common complaint of FJC owners... where to fit everything. Plus, as long as your...

    Triple Aught Design

I have several other earlier version TAD pants and they are great, but this last years redesign neglected to include the "ballroom" in the plans. :Wow1:

Sweet! Looks like the value of my 2001 is going to go through the roof!

    Triple Aught Design

Yeah, I kind of don't like the redesign... it fits okay around my thighs but its a lot more snug a little further north... no, not the waist. Let's just say it can be disturbing to squat or sit down and get a "squeeze," which urgently causes you to drop everything to readjust. Just a bit...

    FlyingWil's FZJ80

Looks good Wil. Now when I'm sitting in my truck I can have someone to see eye-to-eye with. Ignore the nay-sayers; I'm not tipping over and the truck loves to crawl. Just keep it lightly loaded up top.

    2006 Tacoma, tray back, 100K mile re-do

Very nice work. I like how it's taking shape. What are your plans for decking? Also, what are your states requirements for bumper/frame height for that GVWR class vehicle?

Nathan did mention in his reply that his TopSpin unit has sealed bearings. I have never experienced the sealed bearings in my cyclocross or mountain bike to fail, in fact I went to great pains to change everything that required loose bearings to sealed bearings for the sake of durability and...

    Slider material for Tacoma?

Probably alright as an accessory to make the truck appear to be ready for off-road travel but not for serious duty. Good point noted above but then you will always have that nagging shortcoming plaguing your build... are they really that strong to take a hit? Plus you mentioned that you want...

All I know is from their brochure that "dual mounted bearings" comes up as a feature; but don't we have a few wearable ball bearing assemblies on our trucks already? I know Donaldson provides pre-cleaners on a variety of materiel handling and construction equipment that see extremely rugged...

You misunderstand Corey... freeze doesn't park under trees - he goes through trees. On the trip we emptied his air-box just to harvest dried kindling for starting camp fires. Some say his legs are hydraulic and that he roams the Canadian woods for poutine... all I know is they call him 'the...

From an earlier post I used hp x 2.5 = cfm; so your 5VZ list 183 hp engine would require 457 cfm. Not that it makes 183 hp anymore... My 3RZ lists 150 hp therefore it would require at least an airflow of 375 cfm. Let us know if you hear anything more about this new Donaldson pre-cleaner...
