Save some more money and go with an LR3 - unless you like the older rigs and getting your hands dirty. I love my LR3 and it is extremely capable offroad. I am comtemplating picking up a RRC/DI or DII just so I have something to tinker with.

I really agree with this statement. You don't see tranny, CV, wheel bearing, etc failures on te LR3. If it didn't have way too many ECU's and airbags it would be really really damn solid.

Interested to know more about the discrete winch bumper? Is this a hidden winch tray behind the OEM bumper? or a more slimline full metal bumper option?

Tires look great. I must admit, at first I thought you were insane to try and fit them. But now - holy cow.

I took mine offroad a couple weeks ago. It was simply amazing.

cydonia-jacc wait it out and find the perfect one - they are out there. I picked up my 2008 HD with 25k on it last year. Mine came from Oregon. Dealer said to look for vehicles sold in Oregon and Colorado as they are more "off road" areas and are more likely to order the HD option.

Diesel LR4 would be a fantastic upgrade path in a couple years from now

Awesome - does the special programs in terrain response still work? I assumed terrain response was disabled since all the coilers come from the factory without it

Thanks for the info. With the AB kit, was there a computer to install to trick it into forgetting about the Air suspension? do you have any lights on the dash? Also assuming the terrain response is deactivated?
