Bah just SAS it....kidding...... well only partly :p
I am pretty anxious to see someone in the US try the Atlantic British kit. I would suggest asking those on www.disco3.co.uk and www.aulro.com for their experience in Air vs Coils offroad. I am sure there are more than a couple people who...
Looks like they do have one: http://www.columbiaoverland.com/product/bajarack-exp-edition-land-rover-lr3
Anyone got one? they only have one crappy thumbnail photo
I understand the desire to keep in the OEM tire size, but have you considered bumping up to the tried and true 265/65 BFGoodrich AT's?
But in my opinion, I would down grade to v6 brakes so you can fit a 17" tire. I would suspect finding a 18" tire might be a little hard in some places in South...

The vast majority of the "on bump stops" that occur are software related. An incorrect signal (failed height sensor) or other electronic fault causes the system to shut down to prevent it from damaging itself. Rarely does the hardware fail. (Well expect the recent events relating to control arms...
This exists, built in Australia - search for "LLAMS". Has some good and bad about it.
Regarding rods. The big thing that has been missed is rods let you run at offroad height when you are going faster than 30 mph ;)
Personally I have a set of GN Vehicle Protections quick adjust rods. They are...
