I'm not sure wher eyou live.
Rent a set and try a groomed trails/track first and then hit untracked roads and meadows before hills etc.
Maybe take some lessons too.
I'd be very interested
Do you have any preliminary drawings of what you have in mind?
Keep it simple and light weight. Maybe a bed up top and an optional single bed bench on one side and a lightweight kicthen set up on the other side?
You have to measure the extended fully drooped lenght or you rear suspension and then look at the compressed lenght or your stock shocks to see what range of shock you need.
I would start at the battery to see which cable (+ or -) goes to earth (ground) and go from there.
I don't think the switches care which way ground is?
The shocks are probably too long or too short?
Check the application/ part number.
You need to know the full dimensions when compressed and extended.
Maybe they sent you the wrong shocks?
It looks great on the Land Rover but on the JK it would get torn off in the brush my first trip out.
Maybe if you could mount it flush to the fender and or use a differnet shovel?
Id' use a Bleach/water solution (or the medical grade phenol cleaner as mentioned) and replace flooring and seat cusions etc. I'd also build new cabinets for my kitchen /counter area (that's just me)
You could also us a UV light but that wouldn't get in all areas.
Most of the nasty bugs don't...
I prefer stick shifts any day but they are getting harder to find in new vehicles:(
PS
Don't shift while in deep water as oil in the bellhousing may get on the clutch plate when shifting
If the vehicle rolled over in the water and got wedged on the canyon wall it could have been bad for you and your rig.
I doesn't take long to drown and or have your vehicle get filled with sand and rocks.
