If you are worried about a unibody get a vehicle with a real frame.
On rough trails you can feel the body flexing so much your hand can get pinched between the door and the roof rail. This happend to me in a friends Cherokee on the John Bull in So. CA.

Tell us more about your CJ is is a 3 speed or 4 speed? What axles do you have?
I wouldn't lift a CJ more than a few inches because of the short rear drive shaft.
Look into RE or Rancho springs with full military wrapped springs.
I would stay with 33" or less tires.

Push buttons are great until an electric part fails when you need it most.
You have the switch on the dash and the actuator part on the t-case that can fail as well as the electrcial connectors.
I prefer a direct lever system to push button and flashing lights anyday.
