Hit the Glade Top Trail again, if you remember thats the first place I took the Burb...found some better trails this time got to run with a group of toyotas... man those land cruisers are sweet....ozark overland outfitters invited me on the trip.
Went out and ran a box through the 270 last weekend and my buddies both had 300 win mags they both had vortex optics one had a $700 scope and the other a $200 scope and me with my Simons.....sighted in at 25 yards and dead on at 200 ish...they wanted to shoot 500 and set up some out of date soup...
Alright glad to see an update.... I too get to do the oil sending unit soon and I also need to fab a plate to protect my washer jug....still my favorite gmt800 on the web...
Im thinking about sliding them out to make a step after running without sliders I realized the frame protects the body for the most parts and if I weld the sliders on and scoot them out and make steps that it should still protect the rockers.
Took my two youngest out while my wife and oldest where Christmas shopping last weekend found some really tight trails and got a little bit of body damage.....I should've built sliders instead of day tripping it.
A little trail damage...also mthe seal on the front output of the transfer case is leaking apears I got a rock into the little spot and hit one ear on my yoke and dented the backside of the crossmember in front of the t-case.
A preview of my new accommodations that I've not yet posted...full sive 2" memory foam. Fully collapsible to still seat 8. This was the start of what was supposed to be the last trail day. But with all the rain I backed out being the only vehicle. We headed the 6.5 hours back home...we ran alot...
