Yes the welds are rough, I'm using my 110 flux core welder on 5/8" thick stuff, first weld slow by turnind down the wire speed. Preheating helps a ton, purposely leave a gap to fill further slowing down the speed. I was able to heat the 5/8 while welding to the point the opposite side was...
