Overland Explorer Composite Flatbed Truck Camper For Sale***SOLD***

Absolutely! Credit where credit is due. Thanks for the comment Mike, I have been busy as heck and missed this so sorry for the late "thanks". That was THE best looking XV-JP period, I'm curious to see how Paul handles the remake, I like his work too.

Flatbed and composite panel build on Dodge 2500

Morgan's are a classic and I love them. Idasho is probably one of the few wood units with that kind of care put into the build. Not so with the rest of the industry. Check out Total Composites or Beaufort Composites on the east coast.

    1994 International 4700 Conversion Begins

The problem started right around 70 000 miles so my conclusion was the same, got to try the brakes out REALLY good a couple weeks ago and they worked pretty good! I wish I had a dash cam for that one.

Flatbed and composite panel build on Dodge 2500

That was my #1 sales guy getting it right, you'd have had a lot more entertainment if it was me monkeying around in there! Thanks for the comments, the aluminum cabinetry is working out really good, we use it in all of our industrial and emergency units so we know how to build it good, getting...

    1994 International 4700 Conversion Begins

I had the exact same issue under the same conditions you are describing with my F650, same brake system too. It got so hot the first time it happened that it caught the rear calipers on fire, I replaced EVERYTHING calipers, rotors, pads, hoses, at all 4 wheels, and the same thing started to...

    EarthRoamer XV-JP "Northwest Edition"

Flat bed modular designs are the most sensible thing when it comes to maximizing function out of your vehicle. Done right, something like that would run in the 50K range (including a much higher quality flat bed than the aforementioned brand). Is there a market here for that? I love the way that...

    Dutch MAN Camper Documentary

Yeah, we have access to tons of them but not that style, Unicat, Bliss, GXV all use a similar latch but I never looked at the name on them. I like them.

Very cool. Anybody know the manufacturer for the access door latches?

So this happened to me in Montana...

I've seen that many times, but that is the first pic I have ever seen of a RV that tipped/rolled and didn't end up as a pile of debris. I rolled a truck and trailer several years ago, a dip in a curve and that was all it took, I hammered the trailer brake but things can happen pretty fast sometimes.

Thanks Shane, sorry to hear about your wreck, that sucks. Does your lovely wife have enough years in to retire yet? I might need some help here!

Wood? It's 2016 boys! There is not a factory produced vehicle that is made with wood except for the dreaded RV! Aluminum Polyester powder coat Stainless hinges Compression latches Any number of polyurethane adhesives You can wipe it down with anything including acetone if you're a real dirty...

Flatbed and composite panel build on Dodge 2500

Thanks for the reply Stephan. Once you discover the properties of adhesives and how to build with them, you realize how inefficient mechanical fasteners can be. You simply cannot beat the effect of surface area and vibration dampening.

Flatbed and composite panel build on Dodge 2500

Not successful yet but a hell of an attempt and more fun than a lot of "other" stuff! I left my card on your windshield at Laughlin and was keeping an eye out for you, went out to cheer on Team Graf, was a nice hot day for an ice cold beer.

I've seen this stuff sprayed on a sea can, and used as a mobile shop in the winter, I was pretty impressed.

Flatbed and composite panel build on Dodge 2500

For a lot of winter use, I'd go XPS as well. Screw retention is not what I'd call great, I use a backing plate and generally bond it in place so it doesn't move if you have to take something off, this is common practise with this kind of construction and works excellent. I do have panels made...
