on gen 1 motors i have found the 5.9 cummins from a dodge fits bolt in. did gen2 use the same alt?
the oem is mitsu and parts are painfully expensive. the dodge is denso and the opposite holds true, and its 120a.
so 97 5 speed sport models will give me a bolt in limited slip 9 inch with discs. right ? that info saves me a ton of work thx.
but are sport 5 speeds as rare as gen2 5 speed?
this one i found the fellow is asking 150.00 dollars for the whole rig. no title
after fooling with this engine some i have developed a few opinions.
the base engine is very strong, simple and reliable.
its tuned for epa.
you can fool with the following:

very simple rigs. sturdy assemblies,
the engines are simplicity defined.
the cat converter likely will need replacement or , ahem, cleaning out.
replace the pipe from water pump to the rear of the engine 68 dollars at dealer.
rubber on mitsus is very sturdy.
oil cam seals on the back of the...
after the refresh, i usinstalled whatever was oem spec. but i see coffeegoat using irridium. is this the best thing for my 3.0?

today was my first oil change after installing my freshened engine.
my first oil was a mineral 5w 20
