Got some vintage style wheels for my JK

I don't have a lot of action shots of my Jeep but here are a few recent ones that aren't driveway shots... And one from a few weeks ago returning from kayaking:

Got some vintage style wheels for my JK

The wheels came primed, so I did not paint the back side of them. It's been about a year and a half since I put these wheels on, and they are holding up great! There is small surface rust around the bolt holes but other than that they are holding up fine. They even hide trail scrapes very...

    Ursa Minor Pop-Top Jeep JK

I wish I had scenery like the photos above. If I lived out west I would definitely go for the Ursa Minor. big open spaces are where it shines, I believe. Here in Florida there aren't many uninhabited areas and the places available for camping are usually have dense tree coverage. I do enjoy the...

That's a pretty heavy load to be supported by the hardtop. are there internal braces that attach the roll bars or is the whole tent just attached to the fiberglass hardtop?

I feel that unless you are doing this as an exercise for yourself, to see if you can, you aren't going to really gain anything by doing such a conversion. The rear doors will actually come in very handy when loading and unloading the vehicle. With the rear seats folded down or removed you can...

Those 2 doors both look great! I'd love a permanent roof rack if it would fit in my garage but I also take the top off way too much for one.

Yes those are the wheels I have. Just make sure to pick the right bolt pattern for your application. 15x8 requires caliper grinding on the JK. 16x8 fits. I wish I had gone 16x8 but at the time no one else had tried these wheels that I knew of so it was somewhat of an experiment. Not sure what...

If I ordered one without windows I would add a "blackout" decal in the window area to simulate a tinted window. If it's glossy enough people would never know the difference.

I would make a trip out of it and go pick it up if your schedule and budget allows.

What size are those wheels and tires? I think we have the same wheels but mine are 15's and yours look bigger.

I don't have a dog is this fight except for wanting one of these tops...though I only have a 2 door JK so it won't be happening for a long time, if ever. I've followed this thread for a long, long time. IMO, it is nice that John said he would ship you those parts, and he really should have...
