'10 JK Sport : Do it right the first....I mean second time

There is a drain hole and a fill hole on the JK covers. Edit: Sorry didn't see page 2 of the replies.

Awesome pictures! I wish I could get away from everything like that but in Florida that's about impossible.

You don't need to remove the covers to change the fluid...not sure what else you are planning on doing unless you just want an excuse to upgrade :)

I wish Ursa Minor had something for the 2 doors. The cost of a hardtop + roof rack + RTT will come pretty close to an ursa minor top, but you need a 4 door for that to happen. I love my 2 door and don't want to start all over.

I haven't had any brake issues on mine. I think the JK has larger brakes though, and my 33x12.5x15 Duratracs are a pretty light tire. I don't think the combo weighs much more than the factory 17's/32" tire combo. Do you know the weight on just the wheels? Mine aren't Stockton, and they weigh...

It's funny because the day after that picture was taken, my Jeep looked just as clean as the first 3 pics. People assume I don't get it dirty because it never stays dirty long enough for people to notice haha.

Here is my 2007 JK. There's really nowhere to "expedition" to in Florida, but I like to venture off the beaten path.

    Ursa Minor Pop-Top Jeep JK

Nothing is changing body wise for 2015. If Jeep holds true to tradition we won't see a redesign until 2017. 87-95 YJ 97-06 TJ 07-16? JK 17-?? ??

Did you contact Ursa Minor? That does seem like a significant problem but I would contact the manufacturer and see what they say about it before putting it on a public forum.

    Ursa Minor Pop-Top Jeep JK

For a 6 month tour of the US I would much prefer something with a bathroom... I love the Ursa Minor top but for your application I don't think it would be ideal. Despite what you see on the web most of the US is covered in paved roads. There are really awesome national parks with well maintained...

Optima yellow top battery in their Jeep JK?

If you plan on only traveling through North America I would pick up a Sears Diehard Platinum. The main reason being that if you were to have an issue there is a Sears in most towns that could replace it for you. Sears also prorates their batteries when out of warranty, IIRC.
