Here's a few new ones from yesterday and today.
You can see the Aqua Bumper in this pic from jeepkarma.com. 7 gallons of onboard water. Perfect for cleaning up after a muddy day on the trail!
I would be concerned that removing the seat might somehow disable the airbag system. Other than that I say go for it! However if you plan on sleeping there where are you going to store all your gear? A better solution might be a roof rack and roof top tent, or a small trailer with a tent. Just...
The JK tailgate isn't flat, so even after you do your drop down conversion, sitting on it still wouldn't be comfortable. And the conversion kits look terrible and are very expensive.
You can add a folding table to the tailgate in a Wrangler. You can also just open the tailgate and sit in the back of a wrangler the same way you can sit on a tailgate. I get what you're saying but it's really not that different. Still not convinced lol.
I never understood the drop down tailgate thing. Sure it makes sense on a pickup truck when sometimes you need to load items that are too long for the bed. But on a Jeep? All it does is make it more difficult to reach further into the back. I've been trying but I can't really come up with any...
You could also look into the original Trektop, not the Trektop NX. The original one has a top that rolls back instead of flipping back. However the rest of the top is inferior to the NX so not sure the trade off would be worth it for you.
I recently installed this new kit from JeepKarma to outfit my JK with pressurized running water. Water is stored in the factory rear bumper, which holds about 7 gallons. Installation was easy and only took a few hours. I've wanted to do this mod for a few years now, but never got around to...
Much appreciated! I wasn't shopping for a white Jeep but I got the best deal on it so I went with it. Now I couldn't see myself in any other color (except maybe Sahara Tan).
Thanks Mike! I swear I can never post a pic of my Jeep without a question on the wheels lol. Here's a write up on Wrangler Forum. I'm pretty sure I posted about them here too but I don't have that thread bookmarked and it didn't get as much attention here...
Sorry for the poser driveway shots but I just put a Trektop on my Jeep and I really love how it looks. Plus my Jeep is so quiet now I've discovered new rattles!
I have the White Knuckle as well. Super stout and I received them about 3 weeks after I ordered. Install involved drilling about 8 holes into the frame which was not that easy but once I managed to slow down the drill speed it helped out tremendously. I ordered mine bare so I can't comment on...
