    Sleeping bags- Down vs. Synthetic

Like some here I've used all types of sleeping bags. Comfort, lack of compressibility (comparatively), wider temp range and shortened overall useful lifespan, being a few of the reasons for converting to down, drove me away form synthetics about 20-years ago. I'm sure technology has made...

    100 series tire size

In truth it depends on the specific tire brand/model and/or the actual width. The 315/75-16" Toyo MT, for instance, will rub the steering knuckle without a spacer at 2.75" of front lift height on the 100.

Beg to differ; otherwise you wouldn't be so combative on these forums when someone aks for comments about trying something different than what you prescribe John.

    35"+ Wintertyres

I've been impressed, for an MT type tire, with the snow, hardpack and ice included, performance of my Goodyear MT/R Kevlar's. I'm running 285/75 18 which is 35" but they're also available in the more traditional 35"r 315/75 16.

Brad's Consolidated King Kamper Trailer Thread

But, as you, I've been awoken in the middle of the night/deep sleep by high winds. And its no fun trying to add extra guy lines when 1/2 a sleep, in the dark and with a 30mph+ wind :). Or you could just roll over and go back to sleep :coffeedrink:
