I have had to buy many cheap light sets over the years but only had to buy one good set. Maybe if you can mount them in a place where they won't be subject to much abuse they may last?

Mine is in a back pack (frameless). I like to have the straps big enough so I can through it over my shoulders to keep my hands free. I pack that into an old fuel can I modified as my tool box and then strap it down.

I have an 01 5 spd 4.0 with 4.56s. With 35s I get a, couple mpg per gallon more than with 33s at about 65 mpg or so. If you slow down a few miles per on the hwy you will do better. I am now running 34s. At 70 to 75 I get about,12 mpg.

exactly. I run my motor about 1,000-1,100 rpms or so. If I had an auto and had it in park the motor would run about 900 rpms, I have a stick. Mine is hard wired and there may be some lost of power because of the length of the cord.
I have a hand throtlle I can lock in and found my speeding the engine idle slightly it runs much faster but I haven't noticed heating more. It might though. By the time I get done airing up alll my tire the pump is pretty hot no matter what I do. I do check t make sure the wires do not heat up.
