Stumptaco's has gone over to the darkside..XJ style.

Yeah, the only thing I am doing that weekend is playing in my shop, on my own Jeep. Its been far too long since I have had any time to do what I want to do.

Wife is going out of town with the baby on July 4th weekend, so I have about 3 full days to work in the shop finally... gonna install both axles, shackle relocation brackets and new shackles. Probably get my train horns installed, and finish up my light rack for the Hella 4000's. Lots to do...

Got a chance to build my rear swingout finally. Sio glad to get the spare on the back of this thing. Also whipped up a locking fuel can holder, hi-lift mount, and tag/camera mount. Turned out pretty good I think. I made the hinge on my lathe, just a double shear set-up, 1-1/8" pin, delrin...

Is everything spelled out in writing what is expected to be done to the trailer? No more of that verbal-over-the-phone stuff right? Glad to hear they are at least making an attempt.

Top 10 Used Overland Vehicles: Do you agree?

Get rid of the E series (seriously?) and the patriot, add a Cherokee and the list is pretty darn close. I agree wholeheartedly about the little zuk though, in my 4 years in Europe I have seen those things beat to death and they come back for more. ~ Stump

Any market for this? JK Transfer Case

Bump... $300 bucks, plus shipping or local pickup. Will still take full or partial trades... surely someone needs a replacement or spare Tcase? These go for around $700 bucks used. I just want it out of the shop. ~ Stump

WTB : Renix Engine SoCal Area

Have you looked on Naxja? I have seen them go for pennies on the dollar around here, and they have a huge regional chapter for California. I know a guy here that has a great running engine out of a '91 for 300 bucks, but we are on the wrong side of the country...

    Trailer Axle

Plenty of people do it... it'll work just fine. Kinda a ghetto way to do a trailer axle if ya ask me, but thats just my opinion. From a technical standpoint, its a fair amount of extra weight you dont need, and the extra moving parts... but in that respect, its a good place to store 'extras' for...

Any market for this? JK Transfer Case

I have a non Rubicon transfer case out of a 2007 Jeep JK Wrangler. This is the 241J case, NOT the 241OR. Anyone out there have a need for it? Whats it worth for sale? I know what I paid for it... but havent been able to find any for sale to give me an idea. In great shape, only had 17,000...

    Xj pwr windows

You should be able to just change out the regulator for a manual unit. No need to change the whole door. I have debated doing the same...the XJ power windows...um...suck.

    Cherokee (XJ) 3" Lift Coils

Hmm... I have 2 inch spacers on my DD XJ, but it not quite enough to get it level with the rear. How much did these actually raise the front? A full 3" or more/less?

The Power Wagon is hella awesome. I got a chance to check out the trailer and the truck today at 4WP, and they both have some major drool factor. The trailer is pretty darn spiffy if it werent for those few things mentioned by Bill. The wood work is awesome. Just needs a few tweaks. The...
