I dont think it was as cold as the temps outside of the tent, but def... cold enough to notice it....
My issue is not it being cold/cool or what have yah...but it gets too hot in my lil RTT.... I learned to have it at its lowest setting and regulate the heat by...
I run my propex with the return hose and still get the cold air into the tent before and after combustion......
Love to see what you come up with for vent fitting through tent fabric...
I have my set up on the rear of my 60... drawer slides out and a table slides out from under the drawer....
I used a lower "h" aluminum extrusion to avoid having to use another set of bearing slides...
The table has two 5" holes for the cheap stoves I use...
If I need to cook on a table I only...
@MattJ I think of you place the heater as close to the RTT as possible you probably get better results with the Propex unit...

I would agree with whay the dealer stated...
Hot air rises up and cold air sinks to the bottom...
I think the fan is not needed, but it might be good to help regulate the temp inside the tent...
Back in 2009 we did a trip to AK for about 5 weeks...
The tent was a Eezi-Awn...
It held up great under downpours for days and days of rain..... No leaks anywhere.... It was great...
Where it failed was when it was time to put it away....
Talk about getting soaked..... by the time I would...

Being uncomfortably cold at night is alright I suppose (at worst it will make for some unforgettable & great memories) , but being stiff warm is not.....(& you'll be just a memory)...
