You would be better off with a really good down sleeping bag.... For the times when I gots my 2 y/o and a heater is a must I use this..... Its awesome and keeps things dry....

I built my own to deal with wind noise... don't know if it helps with fuel efficiency, but my RTT is bug-splatter free and wind noise is minimal. Fairing follows the same 47º angle as the windshield...

sounds like you are more than ready...but here are some things that i implemented.. on top of food and shelter... Know where your water, electrical, and gas shut off valves are and how to turn them off... contact out of state to let relatives know how you and family are doing..... Ham radio...

I gots the extend 720p and it has been great on dry / dusty and wet / muddy weather... Telescopic is out of sight out of mind until needed... the sliding ladder has been sitting in the garage for a few years now....
