Venturecraft Trailblazer offroad tent trailer - Sacramento CL $1200

Ad text: I have a venturecraft trailblazer tent trailer for sale. It is a very small trailer, about 5' from tire to tire and 9' from the front of the tongue to the back. It's light enough to be pulled by a small truck or jeep and can even be moved around easily by hand. Cargo area in the lower...

Is your gen 1crap on the highway

Vibration and wander on your '90 could also be attributed to rear axle control arm bushings. On flats, I could push my 4-cyl Raider to about 85, but it felt I was waiting for the next millenia. Roxy was very happy to do 70 all day. My turbo Mighty Max is another animal and would cruise between...

Phil tows a small trailer around the Canadian hinterlands. His trailer is a single axle, fiberglass something. Make sure your expectations don't surpass the capability of the proposed vehicle.

    what width wheel?

The reason you have difficulty finding these rims is that the 15" wheels don't clear the larger brake drums of the 14-bolt axle...which came with 16" or 16.5" diameter rims. There was a 9.5" ring gear 14-bolt housing used in the late 80s / early 90s that was a semi-float axle with smaller drums...

Disconnect the rear driveshaft on the automatics for flat towing. I've towed numerous Montero, rather not have toast.

General Questions for my 1977 Nomad

'Kindling' is appropriate. I've had many similar trailers that decomposed over time using them for garden sheds and parts/tool houses. I bought this Nomad for the large bathroom and it will log mostly paved road miles anyway, just want some more height. This trailer drags a bit in my flat...

    Gen I seat options

Dan's seats are super comfy. Of all the vehicles I've driven up and down our road, his is by far the nicest ride and quiet. Those are Gen II? I thought that '91 Gen I LS were available with arm rests? Maybe I'm thinking of lumbar support.

General Questions for my 1977 Nomad

This trailer has cambered axles and will receive the obligatory new spring pads to accomplish the lift. Thanks for the advice.

General Questions for my 1977 Nomad

I recently picked up a 1977 Nomad 21' camper trailer that suites the needs of my family and can be towed by vehicles I own, especially my Ramcharger. I'm aware that the trailer construction is much biased for on-road travel, but how durable would this be for USFS-type forest road? As I live in...

Does a Good Knife have to = Expensive?

I spent some $$ on my daily carry knife to assure a lasting tool, warranty on the knife, and quality associated with the brand. My use does not include stripping carcasses in the field, felling trees for firewood, etc., but more utilitarian things like opening boxes and cloth soil sample bags...
