Looks as though those would not be too difficult to fabricate from flat stock. Locks might be difficult though. Maybe use the ones you have and make a set for the middle bar to add the stability you are searching for?

I used an old sheet to cover my REI inflatable roll up sleeping pad. Keeps it clean and is easily washed. Sewed ( after splitting the flat sheet) one side and the bottom. Flat sheets work better for this stuff than fitted ones. Sort of what you are talking about.
