At this point in my old, cranky age, comfort will outweigh costs every single time, always! :) With a rig this big, who honestly cares if its 5-6" higher? Not this guy! As for the smaller unit... Absolutely, and honestly, if that 9.5 unit was an option when i originally ordered mine, i...

Good call! Then when you get your 13k GVWR you can start the tire choosing process all over again, but for duallys! #babyheadsfordayzzz ?

My GUESS would be the wait. Almost all are built to order and very few people want to wait 2-3 months for a set of wheels.

Couple items I just removed that I don’t need and selling, will also post in the for sale section, but I’m guessing folks following this build interested -300ah LifeBlue Low Temp LifePO4 battery with built in heater and blue tooth. Bought new 9/23/2020. Still tests brand new. Bring whatever...

Found a Lippert shower pan that fits EXACTLY in the space I have. Indoor shower will be next on the list after I better secure the new batteries

Correct. Sterling also makes a 120amp DCDC which would charge the bank even faster. For me, with the solar as well, I don’t need it. But if ya have dual alternators and are a driver vs a Parker, that would be a great initial component that would function great before the solar is installed...

I just looked at those Innov8 wheels you mention. Holy $$$ Batman! If you're looking at that much $ for wheels, also check out Trail Ready Beadlocks (Made in USA, DOT approved, available in cast and forged options, and lifetime warranty option) Although they'd be an obvious lead time (which...

No, i tend to drive more careful than most i think. My point was to express nothing is bulletproof so the beefiest version of whatever you're looking at is usually the best choice. My unsolicited advice to you is to WAIT and 100% hold off on wheels and tires until you get camper on and get it...

This is likely the question i am asked most, and its simply impossible to answer. But for reference. I camped in 100F+ for 3 days this summer and the camper is so well insulated, i only need to run it for 1.5-2hrs for the camper to become an icebox, and it stays cold for 4-5 hours easily. I...

I mean they’re supposedly stronger, but ironically the only one I’ve ever broken. Funny, after I broke it, I tried valiantly to look up the load rating of it and it’s like top secret stuff and could never find the #. At the time I was admittedly about 500lbs over GVWR. But I’m still not...

Irrelevant to the brand, the “pin top” designation only means it’s a threaded stud. That’s all. Soooooo

Yeah… no one plans to hit a hidden rock. Until they do #overlanderlogic ??‍♂️ Only wheel I ever destroyed was one of the “Forged” TRD Rock Warrior wheels. Clipped a rock out in Death Valley and the wheel basically exploded. Pics of it are on my IG somewheres

Honest Question (with a hint of snark) Everyone with a Carli system always has to add that it’s a “PinTop” All that means, literally, is that the shock has a threaded top and not an eyelet. Why is that even mentioned or brought up? Should I edit my build for my Kelderman “Eyelet” system? ?????
