    Montero Suspension Travel?

The front will have a bit better travel if you disconnect the front sway bar, but nothing to write home about. You can trim the bump stops to gain a little more, maybe a gain of an extra two inches. But I believe the difference between the Montero and the trooper to be very minimal in the front.

    1995 Montero SR Build

Oil I agree, It likes you need to pull the valve cover on that side and replace the seals on the bottom of the spark plug tubes. How did the plugs on the other side look?

Mod: Raising the Gas Tank in a Gen 2/2.5 Montero

Bl Use the longer bolts that are available with the kit. I recommend spending a little bit extra on the grade 8 bolts.

Body lift Body lifts for Montero's-> www.4crawler.com Yes, you can run 35's with a 2" Body lift. A little cranking of the torsion bars in the front helps as well as runing an 8" wide rim with a little bit of outboard offset.

The rear locker is most common in the 94-97 SR models, and was also included in the 98-00 models with the "cold weather package". The suspension seats are common in the 1st...

LWB vs SWB, Which Is Better?

Seems like you got it covered. SWB is more fun IMO it just feels sportier. LWB is more practical and you can fit more passengers and gear into it. It all depends on what you are going to use it for. The LWB is a lot more stable on steep climbs and is less likely to lift up the front end...
