It will be bit before I get to as I also picked up some gen 2 control arms the same day and have some whitline bushing on the way and doing that will make huge difference
Got a decent deal on some gen 2 seats and being that my gen 1's are shot plus adding an arm rest would be awesome so I'm going to give them a shot. I think I'm going to have to get creative mounting them especially because the driver one is electric but I think it can be pulled off. I'll keep...
I'm 31x10.5 cooper at3's and could not be happier. I would run those in the midwest. When was in the Midwest I ran the 255x85x16 cooper st on my land cruiser and they were not bad in the snow but these at3's have a lot better road manners .
Thanks for the link. From what I've read you use the gen 1 front bushings and it sounds like two a side then you use the gen 2 ones in the rear at two a side . so total of 8 bushings? Sound correct ?
I'm not going to do the swap as I don't really have a great spot / time to do it but I have a good relationship with my mechanic but I don't want to hand them big mess. The good news it that bushing for gen one are pretty expensive and can only come from Mitsubishi that I can find but gen two...
I have chance to pick up some rear trailing arms from 94 and thought since my bushings are shot and need to be replaced I thought this would be decent upgrade. My question is are the direct bolt in? I'm mean direct or like the u.c.a do they need shims are anything weird?
That's a good question but I'm going up Tacoma next weekend to pick up some gen 2 front seats and hopefully some gen 2 trailing arms so...
Yeah the hitch set up is pretty nice they guy who originally owed this thing loved the crap out of it and did some kinda cool stuff although not so well...
I would ultimately like to replace the seats with something with an arm rest and better seat but would like them to somewhat match. Thanks for looking and getting back to me.
Thanks
Cole
Thanks guys I'm thinking of starting off at $3000 and seeing what happens. I sold my 97 Land cruiser a few years ago and took a decent lose on that but it was Midwest truck and had some rust and being out on the west coast it was hard sale. I do see gen 1 Montero's out on craigslist but they are...
I'm selling it because its just not the vehical for me. I'm going to stay with a Montero but I would like a gen 3 . I have a ton of recipients even the one for the engine. In reality I know I'll lose on it. I had planned to keep it forever but sometimes plans change. I'll let you know how it goes
Im going to sell my montero, this not me trying to sell it here I just honestly don't know how much to ask. I know i will not get what I have invested but I think it's worth something. Here is the good the bad and the ugly.
1990 lwb manual everything with ac. 280,000 miles new engine 90,000...
Second part of this equation is how much to sell my 90 for. It's I decent shape for its age I ha e spent about $5000 over the last year in getting it up to pay I know I'm going to lose money I just wonder how much
