Something clicked with me as I looked at this photo: if OO made these products with black leather/white stitching option, then I think I’d be more inclined to purchase. As long as it is a nice, supple black leather; not a cheap, stiff “is this even real leather?” leather. Don’t get me wrong...

To be clear, I was referring to the “electric remote control rooftop tent”, not the oven. It really isn’t that much effort to flip a RTT open. An oven could be handy, though. I would enjoy some warm, freshly baked cookies with ice cream from my freezer whilst camping. ?

I like this idea for adding an air compressor chuck and pressure gauge, similar to the cowl mounted version from the Wayout concept. Could even add one of those OEM or aftermarket fuel filler doors to keep everything hidden away and clean.

I agree a conversion top would be amazing, but that brings a significant extra cost (plus weight). Less weight = more nimble. Less cost = more toys (oops, I mean "essential gear"). With the extra 12" length, you'd get 86" from the back of the passenger seat (fully forward and vertical back) to...

Dang. My electricity costs $0.09/kWh CAD…steps up to $0.14/kWh if we don’t conserve. Gas works out to $6.09/gal CAD ($4.80/gal USD). I also work from home and moving to a remote island that is 15 km (<9 miles) from one end to the other next month. A PHEV is a no brainer for me.

New truck + new technology = target the biggest market to recoup R&D costs and get the masses talking about it which = crew cab + 5.5 box. The lower spec, smaller cab, longer box versions are coming. Just not yet.
