Thanks for that; I’ve been wanting to do that for my garage toolbox, and have thought how nice it could be for gear storage in a Jeep (I hate rattling gear while driving). I knew these products were out there, but your post has encouraged me to get off my tookus and organize my toolbox, at least!

I wouldn’t use a propane heater all night; just long enough to take the chill out of the air until I fail asleep in a quality down sleeping bag. Then on again in the morning to entice me back out of the ‘bag, get dressed and ready to make coffee. A vented diesel heater would be pure luxury and...

Actually, it's pi * r^2 but in the case of a 4" diameter pipe, it is the same thing so your calculations are correct. ;) @pith helmet mentioned a rubbery taste; will heated up water smell the same do you think? I can see using one of these as a camp shower, but not if I still smell funky...

Ah, I see! I think a Gladiator 4xe is perfect for my needs; my commute is short enough to use full EV, and the range with the 2.0T makes it a good long-distance vehicle. I've read a lot of good things from 2.0T Wrangler owners about how well it performs off road. I admit I balked at a 4-banger...

Yes, sorry; we don’t have the non-S Sport here in Canada, so I wasn’t aware the Max Tow was available on that model. Many people go with the Max Tow option for exactly the reason you suggest; I would do that if I didn’t want some of the other “nice to have” options.
