    Understanding Wrangler/Gladiator drivetrains.

They are all HD D44s front and rear on the Gladiator. The axles on the Max Tow, Rubicon, Mojave and High Altitude are all 1.5” wider than the Sport, Sport S, and Overland. @Jeep or Tacoma is right; there is a 6-speed manual and 8-speed auto for the gasser. The diesel has a different 8-speed...

    Land Rover ideas for Jeeps

I like the clear tote idea. It is easy to get caught up with buying or making full drawer systems, but something like this would suffice for most (if only temporarily until one can afford or have time to build a more “permanent“ solution). The advantage of the totes is ease of remove-ability...

    Land Rover ideas for Jeeps

I'm looking forward to these being released; I can only imagine that the price will be such that it is high enough to pay for all that R&D (and hopefully survive), but also high enough that I can't afford one. :cautious:

Maybe for tall gorillas like you and I? Install a batwing/270d awning a little higher up to have more headroom?

Anyone know where I could aquire a set of Mopar high clearance fenders

Ah yes, I found a photo and see that now. Agreed. I have a 2-door JK, but wouldn’t go with the Mopar set myself. Are you determined to find the Mopar set? I doubt you’ll find any unless you are exceptionally lucky to find a used set. Have you considered one of the many aftermarket versions?

Anyone know where I could aquire a set of Mopar high clearance fenders

The fronts will 100% be the same; it is the rears where some people claim they are different. There have been many threads on other forums that confirm the OEM fenders from a JK will fit a JKU (both front and rear), as well as aftermarket. While the high-clearance might be different, it would be...

Bronco Killer: Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 470HP 392 CONFIRMED for 2021 Q1 sales.

And reduce performance at the same time. Who buys a high-displacement, high-horsepower engine (or turbocharged one, for that matter) and doesn’t want to squeeze every bit of power out of it? Or is happy with engine knock? Or is willing to have the manufacturer void the warranty because you...

Bronco Killer: Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 470HP 392 CONFIRMED for 2021 Q1 sales.

Okay, maybe I should have qualified: premium is recommended. I tend to follow the manufacturer’s recommendation, but it may run just fine on lower octane. YMMV (at your own risk).

Bronco Killer: Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 470HP 392 CONFIRMED for 2021 Q1 sales.

I don't think that's right; the SRT 6.4 (which is the one in the Wrangler 392) needs premium. The 6.4 in the Ram is not the SRT version and runs on 87.

In the JK, no. But you have to purchase map upgrades if you want to stay up to date.

    Re-gear time need advice

Good trick; I haven't seen that one. Also, I forgot about the build sheet lookup by VIN page; I've used this one in the past: https://www.vindecoderz.com/EN/Jeep

    Re-gear time need advice

Not really. Lift the rear, spin a tire and count the number of rotations of the driveshaft. +3 times = 3.21s and +4 times = 4.10s. I'd bet you are running 3.21s unless it is a Rubicon.
