Yes, it is discussed in great detail on another forum for JTs. Not all experience the issue, but many people have been complaining of a dead spot and loose feel. Those who have had the TSB repair have been reporting it a night-and-day improvement.

It almost looks like there is a sleeve sewn on the inside of the flap that actually holds the bag when the flap is opened?

Interesting! Looks like it would work mounted in the 5’ bed of a Gladiator as well. The short bed rail height (>18”) makes it hard to fit a typical Arb or Dometic fridge. The weatherproof doors would work well in the back of a truck bed...:unsure:
