    One-burner propane stove?

I got two of those windscreens although they are light enough to be moved around by the wind they do form an effective barrier to the wind.

    Front Runner Wolf Packs

I did not buy the 'Wolf' packs but rather got the 'Cub' packs as those fit into the FR shelf/drawer better. I don't stack my packs as some do but put them into the drawers so to leave the top of the system for sleeping. I guess if the stacking situation works better the 'Wolf' packs are the way...

Are there any true one person roof top tents on the market?

I have not found a one person RTT Many times I do sleep in the Rover, built a platform for sleeping on top of the shelf system (Front Runner) but when it is hot I do sleep in the cot tent especially in the desert. Has lots of room for me and my gear with everything I require (screens and fly)...

    Battery / Solar Question

The $20 is what you paid for a lesson to teach you to go to another battery distributor, at least one that actually wants your business and treats you accordingly.

No problem, just curious. I would have gone for the series as well. Looks like this one comes pre-dented. I kept my fairing away from the roof cause it vibrated, but it does cut down on the noise. Did, after watching a video on roof racks, discover that when the pieces run fore and aft that...

Post pictures of your Land Rover.

Reason I asked is that it looks very much like the one I designed for my FR rack and gave the plan to a guy in Scotland for free.

Where did you get that fairing and what did it cost? How does it attach to the FR rack?

    Lr3 some errors, what else?

Do not leave the GAP tool plugged in all the time. You can download the manual, put it on a flash drive and have it printed out for easier reference.

New Electric Rivian Truck To Challenge Land Rover

Do you plug it into the nearest cactus to charge it? Perhaps a solar powered boulder? Get real people.

Parts list request: 12v outlet near tailgate

I use this one and have not ever had an issue with it. From a fuse block (15 amp fuse) at the engine compartment close to the aux battery through a 10 gage wire to the plug at the mid point of the LR. Been over some very rough roads on at most 10 day trips...

New Electric Rivian Truck To Challenge Land Rover

Will it have a solar powered winch? or a freezer/fridge? I really don't see a challenge here except for in the 'looks like' dept.

New Electric Rivian Truck To Challenge Land Rover

Will really barely get you to Moab (355 miles) let alone drive the trails. Only has a 400 mile run, maybe.

Crisis in our national parks: how tourists are loving nature to death

Years ago I bought a Nat. Park pass, senior rate, good for life, but then it was $10. Now it is $80. Only go when we travel and it is close to our route. Lots of people at all times. Have to go early in the day to get a spot anywhere. Prefer dispersed camping. Don't go to preferred camp sites...

    Opinions Wanted

I have gone from RRT to an OZ tent and am now experimenting with tent cots. An OZ tent can be workable for 5 but since you are getting away from ground tents and the OZ can be a bit pricey for some, the suggestion for a flatbed with a camper on it might be better. There is possibly a bit of room...

    removing front seats on LR3

I have seat covers that I have yet to install (Wet Okali). Is there a video that would show me either how to install them or how to remove the seats to install them so I don't improperly preform the task and really screw something up?

Cheap tricks and solutions - product modifications, DIY, or repurposed items- not on-sale items

I bought a lamp like that, still in the box, at a thrift store for $8. Just filled it, put on new mantle, and it worked great. Then went on line and got a shield to direct the light and a stand to hang it from, great piece of kit.
