Agreed! I am not too savy on the run flats, but i am guessing for all that headache, they dont provide all that much travel time/help.
Meaning, if you did get a flat, how long could you actually drive on it safely? And at what speed? Seems like a whole bunch of headache for minimal gain
I've done the Canada/Alaska trip Arctic Circle trip on both a Moto and Last year in my 9mpg Tundra.
Seriously, fuel is really a non issue with a minimum of around a 200 mile range. The further north you get the more expensive it gets, but its still plentiful.

Yeah, and with the MPT81s i'm spinning around 1700-1750RPMs on the freeway at 65mph which is the Cummins happy place for economy.
Need to do more testing, but so far as it sits with no weight on it, i am getting 17-17.5mpg
