I have an AT set and an MT set. MT sit in the garage until I head out for a long trail excursion as they obviously wear much worse and cost more than AT. I would weigh your options on how much you would need a specific tire off-road, rain, snow! My bet is, like most of us, 90-95% of your...
Fish a piece or wire inside the tank and lift the float up; if the light goes out, it's your float! If it does not go out, you either have a bad switch or actually low on coolant; it's not a smart system, it either works or doesn't off the float level or switch activation.
Just my two cents!
It's great to see so many opinions on the upcoming Defender; I believe we need to keep the forum civil in all aspects and respect everyone's opinions so we have a positive place to go without politics and drama!
Bottom line, until we actually have an independent review of an actual 2020...
Selling my Tactical Rovers LR3/4 Rear swing out. Single side for the TR rear bumper. The carrier was never power coated so there is a bit of surface rust but otherwise in perfect working order. I am selling because I am fabricating a custom carrier that extends across the entire bumper and do...

@Silmarillion Awesome news. Yeah that coolant tank float sensor is a ridiculous problem; change the entire tank for the cost of a cheap sensor which is removable. I actually am considering making a new float for mine since my light has been on for about a year! I check my coolant bi-weekly an...
Great response @Ray_G I have to go along with you on the hardshell>soft-shell. Yes, any process can make it easier on the individual, but the process is still the same when it comes to usability. I'm putting the sleeping kit inside for the exact reason that I want quick and easy mobility for...
My recommendation if you have the time; presoak everything with penetrating oil for a day or so when the engine is warm. i.e., run it for a bit to heat up the exhaust and the hardware bolts/threads, then shut it off and spray the bolts with penetrating oil. Then after a few hours, (leave the...
@Expedition marooned ************ video, wish I would have got the invite from San Diego to roll with you guys......lol
Can you or will you publish your route(s) taken and ferry trips, border crossings, etc.........?????? I would love to add this trip to my list!
The $1700 is probably because the pipe needs to be removed first before the repair can be done. Just my 0.02c on that. In that case, $1700 is cheap cuz getting those header pipes our are a **********!
@REDROVER @Colin Hughes Great share fellas! I'm going to put these up on the TV and add them o my list.
You both bring up good points and although I think there is a conservation portion somewhere in the portal, maybe we can use this THREAD in the Land ROVER area for our own awareness and...
@Ray_G sounds good, I'll check them out and hit you up direct when I get around to it. Still have to figure out my final layout for the sleeping platform on that side and since I have a the final engine accessory failing (power steering pump), I think I'll be tackling that now upon return from...
