Cool, just trying to help out.
I know working up under my XJ this past weekend, there is just not a ton of room to put a second tank unless it's really small. I would definitely not put it inside unless you have some way to seal it from the rest of the interior. Don't want any possible leaks...
Not to try to be a jerk or anything but you had already asked about the Gen-Right in the other thread. From what has been researched, no one has a larger one for the '97+ Cherokees. There is one available from Australia but it's $800 plus shipping. Already checked into that one. It's like 32...
Hi guys, I happened to be at Pro Gear today having some axle machining work done and was talking to the owner Mark about these cool looking u-joint retaining caps for a 1310 yoke. I guess he had this made up hoping they would be popular with the Jeep crowd but they haven't got the exposure with...
We're in. Wife and I both got the time off and it sounds like a fun trip. Haven't been there before.
I mentioned this to my dad and he is interested, so is there room for another possible vehicle? With his job, it might be a last minute cancel.
XJ_Lisa and I are looking forward to it.
My wife is checking to see if she can get the time off. Are your dates confirmed? Are you definitely leaving on Saturday morning and not Friday?
We would like to do this trip if you have room, assuming my wife can get the time off. Let me know if tagging along is okay. :jumping:
Actually I think you are quite wrong. Cherokee's (XJ's) are very safe. I have seen some unbelieveable mangled Cherokee's the everyone walked away from with hardly a scratch. Much better then what I have seen/read relating to Ford Explorers.
What you don't get with a Cherokee is vehicle...
Great pics. Glad you guys had a good time and that we helped with reporting trail conditions. Looks like it was drier then when we went through. I am still cleaning mud off the Cherokee.
My primary cooler weather hat is a Tilley T3 model, which I love but also found it to be too hot in warmer months. I tried a Tilley T3 Airflow but found it did not cool enough for me. I ended up with a DPC mesh vented hat, which is a little larger brim then my Tilley and vents very well.
So...
Yep, check the connection at the battery terminals and check where they go to as an older cable could have broke with moving them. Also make sure the master fuse or fusable link to the main fuse block is not blown. If you are getting no electrical anywhere, you definitely need to check that...
I just put one in my Cherokee and moved my yellow top into my trailer. I was on my second yellow top, having the first one fail in 10 months. I needed a new battery for the trailer so it made sense to upgrade the Cherokee since the Platinum's seem to get good reviews and put the yellow top...
This has got to be one of the coolest rigs I have ever come across. Very good job on the build and thinking outside the box.
Sure makes me wonder why someone hasn't built the back camper part that could be added to a pickup chassis. Sure would be cool if you could buy a 4x4 truck, remove the...
I have been very happy with our Bridgestone Dualer AT REVO's (make sure the REVO model). They are great on the highway, quiet, very sure footed. On the trail they have worked great. The only thing I haven't put them through is snow but that's coming soon. A couple weeks ago I got to try them...
Looks like Cub has redone their website. A couple years back, when we were buying ours, it was nothing like it is now. They have a ton more models listed.
You are correct regarding the Aussie built. Last I had looked, they did not show anything regarding a Dover model. I know talking to...
Well, to bring back an older thread, the wife and I decided to pick up a SPOT today, for our future travels and adventures. Having just traveled the El Camino Del Diablo trail this past weekend, alone, we decided it might finally be time to get one. We did not have any problems on our trip but...
