    Cub trailer by Kamperoo

I know we love ours. We just got back from our El Camino Del Diablo trip and ours worked great. On a side note, I have not seen the model that has the interior sink/range. Ours is a slide out sink and storage for our camp grill. I have a feeling this was a unit built in Canada as they did...

Last Minute: El Camino Del Diablo, Dec. 19-21, 2008

I don't know, it really wasn't that difficult of a trail. I think the biggest thing in the back of my mind was a mechanical breakdown. Then you're kind of on your own if a solo rig. Since there is a very large Boarder Patrol presence in the area, I didn't feel that I was out of options should...

    Odyssey vs. Diehard Platinum

I just picked up a Diehard Platinum last Thursday night. I knew my Kamparoo trailer was going to need a new battery and I had a yellow top Optima in my Cherokee. Since I have had mixed results over the years with Optima and everyone here seemed to like the Platinums, I put one in the Cherokee...

Last Minute: El Camino Del Diablo, Dec. 19-21, 2008

Trip Completed with Pictures We got on the road Friday morning about 8am. We headed east on I-8 from San Diego and going up the mountains we saw the snow from the storm that passed thru a couple days earlier. We stopped in Yuma for gas, lunch and to hit a bookstore to pick up a copy of...

Yep, that part sucks. They are open tomorrow until 4:30pm but not open on the weekends. We should get there about 2pm or so. Talked to them just moments ago about trail conditions and everything is open and should be a good run. Nice thing is the dust level should be down a lot.

Last Minute: El Camino Del Diablo, Dec. 19-21, 2008

Yeah, it's a bummer no one seems to be joining us. I know your Thanksgiving trip to ECDD got cancelled due to rain so I am sure you would love to do this. I would have done the Anza trip but neither the wife or I are in any condition to hike. For me, 3 knee surgeries and the wife's asthma...

Howdy everyone in ExPo land. Plans have changed and my wife and I are not going to Panamint Valley this coming weekend. We are looking to cross El Camino Del Diablo from Ajo, AZ to Yuma, AZ. Plans are to head out from San Diego about 8am heading east on I-8 and down to Ajo. The ranger...

    Add one more Cherokee...

So far I have about 5000 miles on mine and have not noticed any increase in noise. I also run them at 30-32 psi for the street and 18 psi in the dirt. I will agree that BFG's wear like nails but I feel at the expense of pavement handling. Not that an XJ is a sports car but I feel much more...

    Add one more Cherokee...

Well, I have to say, having had BFG A/T's before, I love my REVO's. Unlike a lot of the Bridgestone line, these are made in Japan and don't have the issues like the US built tires. Just did another trip from San Diego to Vegas and back. Going over it was pouring down rain. This was really...

    Jeep-5O's Trailer Project

It went on very easy. I used about 1.5 bottles to do the floor. Wasted the other half, since you have to mix the hardner. Don't go too heavy but a couple medium coats gave a good coverage and texture without being too thick. If you tape anything up, try to remove as soon as you are done...

    Jeep-5O's Trailer Project

I sprayed the Raptor bed liner on the floor of my truck bed. Very easy to do and it turned out great. Still haven't gotten the truck back together so no idea on the durability but so far very happy. Here's a pic.

    Three Link or Indy?

I would go three link as well and about 100% sure I will on our trailer when the time comes. I was talking to Mario about suspension and I recall him saying they have a very high regection rate for trailing arms. Heat during welding causes enough change that it is very hard to get correct...

Snap-On Blue Point Plasma Cutter, Like New, Located in San Diego, CA

This is a like new condition, Snap-On Blue Point plasma cutter. Very low hours (maybe 12-15 hours). It works great on 1/8" plate and thinner metal. 3/16" it works well and will do 1/4" but is getting to its limits. It runs on 110 volt AC, 20 amp circuit. It has 4 extra tips and nozzles. It is a...
