I have a high roof 144 Sprinter and LOVE the high roof. Being able to park and easily walk to the back is awesome. Also, during bad rain, cold weather, and hot days we were really glad we didn't have a canvas pop top or not be able to stand up inside. I had a boat without standing headroom...
Maybe a zipper screen for the bed area and some form of mounted screen with magnetic closure for the bed entrance? We have a Sprinter with a side door screen that has a magnetic opening/closure in the middle of the screen so when you go in and out it quickly opens and closes without needing to...
Wow only 20' long and around 10' high it is basically the same dimensions as my 144 Sprinter. That's an awesome size and proves why I love cabovers; max space for length.
Looks great. Always loved the high tops (no canvas and less complication). We have a high top Sprinter and it's great having a solid roof and being able to just walk to the back whenever you want. GLWS
Not on the Kanc but further North off the cog railway access road are some fun streams with beautiful cliffs. Right along the "mount Washington hotel" campus
IMO it hasn't dropped in price much from the original sticker... $130K and now $105 with low miles but it is almost 10 years old. Garage queens can be worse than those with miles because the miles meant it was used instead of rotting.
My whole outlook on these vehicles changed when I decided to buy one. I lusted after so many expedition rigs but realized, for now anyway, there is no way we would use the capability given our work schedules, health, and where we live (east coast). We spent a lot of time figuring out how WE...
I wonder how many people actually take these from the US overseas. For instance, over 100 Earthroamers have been built, and I wonder how many have been overseas (I do know of the one famous one of course). Several have been to Mexico but I wonder how much many went very far south. Anyway...
I wonder if there is 4x4. The website doesn't say that it is. Maybe they are building on 4x2 chassis now?
Update, guy on Facebook is building the second one of these and he mentioned this is the US version of the DAF truck and they do convert to AWD... not sure if he frequents Expo but I...
I like the open cab design of the Iveco setup to swivel the front seats. We have that in our Sprinter and it adds a lot of space and openness to the interior. Not having an Iveco here in the US the Sprinter is the next closest.
I wonder if they could build one on the US Sprinter cab chassis? That would be great. However it does look like you can't a cab chassis with 4x4... thats kind of stupid.
