4x4 Roadtrek Tundra - Mercedes Sprinter Van

Hymer bought Roadtrek and they are now one company. Also they don’t use staples in their cabinets from what I can see. I wouldn’t want to take Roadtrek off-road other than a gravel fire road but I haven’t seen staples in mine anywhere.

    AT Tacoma Habitat: Official Thread

Have they fixed the leaking tent issue? Read the seams weren’t sealed at the factory so sealing kits were supplied. Was this just with the early tents and they are now sealed before sale?

New Photos of the Earthroamer XV-HD ahead of SEMA

I think it’s interesting they actually built it with this price tag. It will be interesting to see how it sells. Given the other options available in the uber expensive price range anyone that researched the capabilities etc I can’t imagine would buy it... but as mentioned the rich might just...

Expedition Vehicles: ridiculously overpriced or not

I think it depends on how you want to use the vehicle... if you want to travel around the world with your family and you need the reliability etc of high end design then maybe not too expensive. If you buy it and use it like an RV in a campground then IMO it’s cool but overkill.

    AEV Outpost II Wrangler

Hmmmm are they going to open the cabin at SEMA? I have been checking but haven't seen pics or video.

Is the Ford Transit Ecoboost for South America?

Started doing some research on vans for a US, MX, and South America trip (Argentina, Chile for example) and wondered if the Ford Transit (ideally with Ecoboost) would be serviceable outside the US and Europe? For instance, would a US purchased Ford Transit with: - Ecoboost engine - nonEcoboost...

New Photos of the Earthroamer XV-HD ahead of SEMA

$1.5M price range brings in a ton of competition with worldwide capability. At that price you can buy almost anything you want... no offense to Earthroamer but I cant imagine someone with that money to spend buying one of these on a Ford chassis when other options are out there (Blissmobil...

Anyone has expiriance with high roof Ford Transit 4x4 (or lifted)?

From what I can see costing things out the Ford is cheaper (maybe 10K) with 4x4 than a Sprinter but that is just based on web builds so real $$ it might be different. One reason to pick a Ford is you can get a gas engine instead of diesel, so you could go south of the border without the...

Cool! Winnebago Sprinter 144 4x4 Adventure Concept Introduction

Those are similar options to what I would order. Just without the wheels. Can't wait to see how yours looks in the Pebble Grey. Please post some pics! Also cant wait to hear about how it works in the real world.

    2013 Nissan NV3500HD with 4x4, pop-top, interior, Aluminess bumpers +++ For Sale

Nice van! GLWS. If I understand the layout correctly you have a high top van with a poptop... so basically you have the full stand-up section in the bottom and sleep upstairs in the pop-top? Thats a great idea... I am now thinking of what I would do with a 144 Sprinter 4x4 HighTop with a...

Cool! Winnebago Sprinter 144 4x4 Adventure Concept Introduction

Rumline. I agree with no propane and don't have it in my van (Alde diesel heat and hot water and electric induction cooktop). My point was the prototype was a confusing mix... propane heat/hot water but an induction cooktop. If they had propane then no need for induction cooktop. They fixed...

Cool! Winnebago Sprinter 144 4x4 Adventure Concept Introduction

If you were interested in an SMB Sprinter build or didn't want to wait for Van Specialties or OSV to build one for you this could be a good option. DIY would of course be cheaper and custom could be higher quality for about the price (OSV excluded), but not having to wait and having a dealer...

Loaded Off-grid Overland Ram Promaster Conversion For Sale

Congratulations. Awesome van. By the way, how do you like the camper side AC system? Looks like it takes in air and exhaust through the floor? In our next build I would be interested to learn more about that setup and how you like it. Would be great to have AC not mounted on the roof (lower...

Cool! Winnebago Sprinter 144 4x4 Adventure Concept Introduction

FYI. I just talked to Winnebago this morning and they are indeed going to produce the Sprinter 4x4 Adventure concept. No details yet but it will be revealed officially in a couple of weeks in September. They are prepping the communications to those that requested an update so if you are on...
