    Awesome Ford roaming around Jackson

One of the greatest glories of the West is the vast amount of public lands. BLM and National Forest are open to boondock unless it's posted. The boundaries are almost always well marked.

    Awesome Ford roaming around Jackson

Boondocking is camping in an undeveloped area. That is, no facilities of any type. In a National Forest, it's called "dispersed camping". Boondocking done right requires a toilet and sufficient water for the time you plan to be there.

    OVRLND camper topper

I think this camper may be the most affordable, modifiable, and durable general purpose, 2 person overland solution I've seen. I think I got in all the adjectives I had in mind. Make sure you have the business side well grounded. It will be a while before I can afford to buy one.

    Offroad Capable Mainstream Trailer???

I know you specified a full feature trailer. Something I have looked at and hope to buy in a year or so is a Jumping Jack Black Out 6x8. It's a pop up tent not a full feature trailer. But it's totally off-road capable with a low weight. The tent sets up quickly and can sleep four without...

    My First Tow

I'm thinking that towing a small, light 4WD vehicle behind a van would be a good way to go. Set the van up as a camper and leave it in the camp ground while you explore with the 4WD.

    Camp Stoves, lets discuss

The cool thing about older Coleman stoves and lanterns is there are no rubber o-rings for seals. They use brass compression fittings. You can leave them stored away for 10 years and they will still work just fine. White gas does require a bit more futzing compared to propane to get going but...

    Camp Stoves, lets discuss

The Coleman Powerhouse is dual fuel, gasoline and white gas (Coleman fuel). You can get an adapter to run the Powerhouse with propane. https://www.amazon.com/Stansport-185-Propane-Converter/dp/B004RDQT92/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1514849174&sr=8-5&keywords=coleman+propane+stove+adapter The problem...

Throttle body injection. That was the original version of fuel injection. This guy may be the owner of the Polar Bear you're thinking of. http://forum.expeditionportal.com/threads/56355-Larry-s-1978-K10
